There’s not many gay friendly places in Banjaluka or in the region, and even less openly gay or gay friendly places.
In Banjaluka many gays and lesbians go for a drink in Mister X café bar (electro and rock pop music, one of the only alternative place in the city) in the very city center but never openly showing that they are gay.

Camilo House Apartments – The Camilo House Apartments are centrally located in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. If you are looking for convenience, value and security, look no further. There are five completely furnished junior 1-bedroom apartments in this 4-floor walkup building. This new building has amenities like: cooking area (w/dishes and pots), stove, refrigerator, microwave, cable TV, wireless internet, air-conditioning and backup power.
The prices for the apartments are $65 per night for stays of 7 days or less. $60 per night for stays over 8 days. These prices include all taxes and fees, AND there is no charge for having visitors. Repeat visitors are given a special rate.

This Lesbian bar is open from Friday to Sunday from 8pm. Many people patronize this bar, but the clientele is predominantly Lesbian. Great place for a drink with some friends.

Formerly the legendary hustler bar, Bar Phoenix, now called Bar Friends with new decor.

The “it” gay nightclub opened by gay Dominican legend, Chachita Rubio. It offers a great location, music, and drag shows and strippers. The largest gay club in the Dominican Republic. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (Opened on February 9, 2007.)
Cine Lido – 342 Avenida Mella, (one block from the Mercado Modelo), Colonial Zone, Santo Domingo, Tel.: (809) 682-8082
For 4 hours each night (6:30pm – 10:30pm) the XXX Cine Lido comes alive with a wide cross-section of Dominican men. Entrance is RD$150 pesos so it keeps out the hustler types (usually). For those want a little “something different,” you should check out Cine Lido. Remember, what happens at the Lido, stays at the Lido. Walking distance from El Conde.

On February 6, 2009, Esedeku had a “re-inauguration.” It now has more space, great music and terrace to go with its personalized service (and extensive bar!). Here, you will find a more authentic gay experience. This is NOT a hustler bar!

The legendary Jay-Dee’s is the local gay bar/club frequented by mostly gay Dominicans (and tourists when they are in town). Friday and Saturday night are the best and it can get very crowded (and HOT!). Usually a stripper on Saturday. Open Thursday thru Sunday.
Boca Chica

The Costalunga Residence Club is 3 blocks away from the beach in Boca Chica. The rooms are like little apartments with cooking facilities, refrigerator, air conditioner, and more, for just a few dollars. Very economical and very gay-friendly. There are several very reasonable places to stay in Boca Chica, though no known gay nightlife exists. Everyone looking to party heads to Duarte Street, which is the main strip with many bars, restaurants and clubs. Also, Santo Domingo is just a 30-minute ride away.

Cafe Kupla a non-profit meeting place for queer people at the Satama social centre, takes place about once a month
Tampere
Queerkerho (Queer Club) a queer night open to everybody on the first Thursday of the month at Cafe Hertta (address: Näsilinnankatu 22).
Turku
Turku Book Café a queer friendly cooperative-run vegan cafe. Open Monday to Friday 11-19, sometimes later. Occasionally open on the weekend. Home to Qlub: a monthly queer club with dj’s, dancing and hanging around. Also hosts a wide variety of other cultural events: discussion nights, film screenings…
Suxes is the only gay bar in Turku. Mainstream. Has a dancefloor, there’s karaoke a couple of nights a week. Pretty quiet during the week, but usually packed on the weekend.

Bishkek
Gay-club Mayak – located in the heart of the city (Ala-Too square), this is the oldest gay club in Bishkek. Cozy atmosphere and affordable prices make it a desirable destination for gay people at night. Face control at the entrance.
Gay-club Spiders – famous for it’s ‘dark’ reputation of a place where un-wealthy young gay people use to go to socialize. Both music and bar suck (for my taste) there. However, it’s a place to visit while in Bishkek for the same of seeing ‘another side’ of gay life. Location: Circus building at the Victory square.
Cafe Fat Boy’s – build in late 1990′s as an expat bar, it has eventually evolved into a student- and gay-friendly cafe with a nice selection of breakfasts and reasonable options for lunches. Prices are not very nigh but it’s definitely not the cheapest place in Bishkek. This is not a gay-bar. It’s a gay-friendly place meaning that gay people socialize there at evenings but it’s open to heterosexual people as well.
Erkindik boulevard – used to be famous cruising area during the Soviet times. Not clear if that’s still the case.

Elsker is a lesbian bar which is a restaurant by day and really fun bar at night. The address is: Kristian IVs gate – right opposite Det Norske Teatret (The Norwegian Theatre) in the city centre. It’s within walking distance of the national theatre subway, bus and tram stations.
Ett Glass is a restaurant open for all, and popular with the gay crowd. It’s RIGHT in the city centre, on the popular shopping and walking street, Karl Johan’s Gate.

SLOVENIA
Ljubljana is the largest and capital city of Slovenia and has a great night life scene. The gay scene in Ljubljana is good and there are a good range of gay bars and clubs available. You will be able to find the Ljubljana gay bars quite easily and you can expect to enjoy a great night out with your friends here.
Cafe Open is the best known place for gays and lesbians. Hrenova 19 – almost in the city center.
Klub Gymnasivm club and sauna only for gays is located at
Ulics pohorskega bataljona 34 (public transportation: bus 6, 8 – Smelt/WTC, bus 14 – Mercator Slovenceva)
The second best known and popular place is called Tiffany which is located in a small circle of bars and clubs and has a great atmosphere as well as funky music and décor. It is open once a week and offers a good fun place for the gay community to go out to. You can expect to meet some fun people and have a great night out here. The third of the Ljubljana queer bars is a place called Monokel which is a great bar for lesbians. All are welcome but it is extremely popular with the lesbian crowd and is the ideal place for pre club drinks and parties. The addresses of this bar is as well: Masarykova cesta 24, 1000 Ljubljana

SOUTH KOREA
Daegu
Daegu is the 3rd largest city in the country, but the most conservative area, meaning the gay scene here is very hush-hush – so much so that some of the gay locals don’t know of its existence! The bars are located around the Dongdaegu area, near the train station and express bus terminals.

Seoul
The capital of the country and the only city with a visible gay scene. Located in Itaewon, the bars all stretch down a hill known as ‘Homo Hill’! The crowd is mixed Korean and foreign, and the bars are busiest on Saturday nights.

EatMe – a stylish bar with a relaxed atmosphere, patrons of Homo Hill go here during the night to re-fuel with some food before heading out for more drinking!

UKRAINE
Kharkov
The most famous is club Drive at Rudika sq. Parties are held on Fridays, Saturdays and all national holidays (New Year, Christmas, 8th of March etc.) there.
Another club is called Cactus. It is situated somewhere in the area called Alexeyevka.
There’s also a gay-friendly cafe right in the center of Kharkov (near the entrance of metro “Universitet”). It is called Versay, and there can be found some gays and lesbians in the evening.
